Living with alzheimers event
Renaissance Village Murrieta is excited to be partnering with the Alzheimer’s Association again. We got a great turnout and wonderful feedback from attendees who came to our three-part family series at the beginning of the year. We heard you, and we know there’s still much more you want to learn about living with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. As a result, we’re bringing to you another three-part series: Living with Alzheimer’s for Middle-Stage Caregivers.
This three-part series presented by the Alzheimer’s Association’s California Southland Chapter will feature stories from caregivers & professionals. They will discuss helpful strategies for providing effective, comfortable, and safe care in the middle stage of Alzheimer’s. The program will cover symptoms and care needs, relationship changes, providing personal care, and managing challenging behaviors. It will also cover how to prepare for emergencies, maximize safety, and access respite care.
Living with Alzheimer's Three-Part Series
The three-part series will kick off on Friday, May 11 at 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Renaissance Village Murrieta. Part two and three will take place at the same time on Friday, June 8 and July 13. Everyone is welcome to this FREE event, so please be sure to share this event with your friends, family, and anyone who wants to learn more about caregiving for individuals and loved ones with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
