Employee of the Month -- Maria Assisted Living Housekeeping
We have a wonderful team of employees, and this month we’re highlighting, Maria Herrera. She works in assisted living housekeeping here at Renaissance Village Rancho Belago. Maria is a loving, caring and patient individual who shines bright in all that she does.
Maria grew up in California and attended Perris High School before making the move to Nevada. She worked as a
housekeeper at Green Valley Ranch Resort & Casino in Henderson, NV. After eight years there she returned to Southern California.
Maria joined the Renaissance Village Family, three months ago, and truly exemplifies the Renaissance Lifestyle. She treats the residents like her family members and cares for each resident she works with. From the moment she enters to the moment she exits each day, Maria enjoys her job. She shares that the team works well together and everyone gets along.
Close-Knit Family
Maria and her husband, George have 17 years of marriage under their belt. She loves everything about him. They have their ups and downs like any couple, but they are always happy no matter what. Maria and George have four children together, two girls and two boys. She loves being their mother and spoils them when she can.
When she is not working she loves to catch up on her sleep. She spends a lot of time working and cleaning, even at home. So when she is home her kids make sure she takes time to sit and rest. Maria’s relationship with her kids is definitely more of a friendship, and they all get along very well. They enjoy spending time together during the evenings. They sit and talk after dinner or they play games online with one another.
