Meet Reina in Housekeeping
Raising Children in America
Reina was born in Mexico and grew up there. She later went on to marry one of her neighbors and the two moved to the United States in 1991. Together they have two children, Aracile and Jesus. She enjoyed raising them and watching them grow up. Her daughter married four years, and Reina lives with her daughter and son-in-law. Prior to moving back to the area, the three of them lived in Hawaii for three years. Her son, Jesus, lives with her ex-husband in Escondido.
Working at Renaissance Village Murrieta
Reina used to work in a factory that prepared different types of meats in Escondido. She enjoys working at Renaissance Village because she’s able to be a lot closer to home. Reina likes working with the other staff members and learning more about them. She feels that there’s a comradery among the staff.
Reina doesn’t work too much with the residents, but when she does she shares that they’re all very nice and friendly. This is the first time she’s been in a position like this. In addition, she shares she’s learned a lot in the four months she’s been part of the Renaissance Village Family.
When Reina is not working, she likes to go shopping or dancing when she has time. She also likes to cook and spend time in conversation with her daughter and son-in-law. Reina also enjoys reading books on the history of Mexico.
