End of Summer Luau
On August 17, residents and their families celebrated the end of the summer with our annual Luau. Renaissance Village Rancho Belago theme was An Evening of Tropical Delight.
The evening began with an extensive and delicious tropical themed meal. The menu offered coconut shrimp, pineapple mango salsa, teriyaki meatballs, and much more. Attendees also enjoyed fresh pineapple water or strawberry and peach white wine sangria. Dessert featured wonderful coconut pineapple cupcakes.
At 5:30 p.m. attendees headed out front to enjoy an authentic Polynesian Show, which also included a fire dancer. Residents and guests were also able to take part in the show as they competed in a dance competition. Our very own resident, Rita, proudly took first place in the dance competition. She received a hat and coconut bra to complete her already festive luau ensemble.
