Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee and March Field Air Museum hosted the 13th Annual “Rally Round the Flag” Barbeque. What better way to celebrate our great flag than to gather together with the community? Renaissance Village Rancho Belago was happy to invite and honor the local area Purple Heart and Bronze Star recipients. Meeting these men and women who have sacrificed and given to this country was truly our honor.
Patriotic Fun
Attendees enjoyed a wonderful patriotic performance by the Moreno Valley Master Chorale and an exciting live auction. Additionally, Fresh and Easy, Polly’s Pie’s, and Miller-Jone Mortuary sponsored a delicious BBQ. The most moving time of the evening was a Flag Folding Ceremony presented by March Air Reserve Honor Guard. Funds raised during the evening supported the men and women of March ARB, the deploying and returning troops out of March ARB, Scholarship Fund for Veterans, and the March Filed Air Museum.
